Just wondering… was doing map completions with my guardian but I want the kewl star on my ele so if I can’t use it account wide … I’m going to be a sad panda. I’d be doing map completions on ele except I hate underwater combat, lol.

No, it is character bound. You’ll have do the all the Poi,SP and Hearts again on your guardian if you want to get a star on it as well. It sucks, but I can understand why they did it, so people can get more skill points easier.

Yeah. But the title “Been there, done that.” is account wide. For the star it is a good idea. It will also give you some more items for legendary weapons(lol if you even get enough stuff farmed to make ONE) and for some other achievements I think it is counting account wide – like for example for the renown hearts and the skill challenges(skillfull). Still not at the highest tier there but will probably 1000.

So you need 5 chars and each completing 200 skill challenges. Probably a good idea to just complete everything else and complete all the maps with all the 5 chars on your account on the free char slots.

But I’ll just play my 2nd char to 40 only now to unlock the vigil banner in account medals section and then the 3rd char for the priory. Then 4th and 5th up to 30 until elite slot unlock.

Then after that I’ll decide which one to take to complete everything next(or go to 80 with all of them first then complete all maps).

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. No, I actually want my star on my ele, because she’s my main. However underwater combat on ele makes me want to kick puppies, so I was gonna do the legwork on my guardian alt.

That’s…very silly. I mean, nothing should stop me from getting map rewards on other characters if I clear, but why on earth do I not get a cosmetic star? =/

Its awesome. I can do all content again and have more rewards =) Already over 80% with my first alt =)

And ele is actually pretty easy. My first char was a ranger and thusfar I have died only 2 times on my ele. Maybe you are doing something wrong. Are you using all of your elements?

I love my ele, I do fine with it. I just hate underwater combat. It’s slow, lacks combos (which are half the fun for me of ele) and our utility selection is limited. However, if you’d like to chime in on rotation or underwater utilities, please do here.

Again…I think the ability to do map completions again on an alt is awesome. I don’t see why the star is not accountwide, however.

Reward the player, not the avatar. So much of the game does that, why not this?

So…is this really working as intended? I can wear the title on any character, but not the star?

I haven’t even done TOO much on my guardian that I haven’t on my ele (ele has overall way more world completion) but this concept seems bonkers to me.
