I got a “mark” because my name was “Lukemia” (my first name is Luke)

Moving on;

Before I received this “mark” my luck seemed to be very high, I’d Purchase many black lion keys and do very well with them. After my “mark” suddenly all I seem to get out of Black Lion Chests are Boosters which is worth well less than the keys themselves. Last month (after the ban) I purchased 20 key’s all of which contained trash. You know i dusted it off to a fluke. So here’s one of the kickers the new quaggon Mini pet came out. My friend who purchased 5 which is 500 gems (roughly 6 dollers) received 5 mini pets which are used in the creation of the quaggon (he had no marks on his account) I asked around to other people and they claim they get one almost every present. So i decided to test my luck. I spent 10 dollars to purchase 10. I opened all of them and got 1 pet. I spent another 10 dollars, same thing only one pet. I said “well i spent 20 dollars for this quaggon may as well spend 10 more” because I was averaging a pet per 10 boxes. I purchased another 10 winters-day mystery box’s in it contained nothing but trash die and tonic’s that i would never use. I got mad and turned off the game to never try again spending over 50 bucks on keys and mystery box’s to find out it was all garbage. I would like my money back but I know they would never give it to me because I chose the RNG.

Next, fractals:
I’ve ran fractals since the first day it came out in the first week I was at level 20 I did the 10/20 daily everyday and didnt get a ring till I hit lvl 25. A day or 2 later I hit lvl 30 armed with a fractal back (I had to purchase w/250 ectos) which left me at 15 resist. I did the 20/30 every day and didn’t get one ring or fractal weapon to drop (while i see them dropping like candy to everyone else) So the update came out and I had to Grind dailies and Mat’s (didnt mind it to much, but I did what I had to do) Anyways, my point is Fractals have been out for a month and 2 weeks. I ran fractals every day 20/30 for a full month thats nearly 60 chances to get a fractal wep, yet all I have is vendor garbage and ectos (I will note that after the patch I eventually found a fractal ring or 2). Also the loots people would get 2-3 rares a chest, I would get one or a rare back-piece (that cant be turned into ectos)

Any ways, excuse my bitterness, but either my account has no RNG luck or they turned it down when I got my “mark” If anyone else is experiencing this please come forward. I would love to know if I need to buy a new account or not.

I have no marks and my drops have been crap since the change. I don’t like it but beyond thinking they changed their business plans or someone else did for them I don’t think marks on accounts affect loot.

I hav 3 “marks” because of the forums but i dont feel any different. Game wise, i’ve had up’s and down’s, from 0 ectos to 5. Getting vendor trash is part of an RPG. i get average 1 rare every 30 drops. Roughly 1/10 of the rares are exotics. I’ve never done Fractals tho =p

You seem like a very dedicated player if anything Anet should reward you. Perhaps you are taking farming too seriously.

HAHA, thank you! I had to become one I dropped all my other mmo’s for this one so I use fractals as “raid time” AKA “drunk time”
