Whenever I quickly switch through notes, there’s a pause of silence. Like, really quick switching through notes and there’s no more continuous sound and it just makes it sound awful now. Ruins the entire instrument for me and yet when other people do it, there’s no pause in the sound. ??

the marriner’s horn WAS fun and I loved the entire thing but the quick switching I might be a bit OCD about this, it ruined it for me. And then the controls of the flute were made WORSE and that ruined the flute for me. The choir bell having a timer ruined it for me before I even tried it (and I did try it. Hate it.)
I almost feel like I was lured into buying the marriner’s horn and flute only get get kitten’d over with modifications to controls or how it works that only hurt my experience of it. So now they’re hardly fun.

They have already stated that they will be reverting the the flute controls and adding the stop function to ‘0’ instead.

As for the horn, I personally couldn’t stand how the notes would bleed over to the next one and create dissonance in the melody. True, you could get some cool harmonies between notes, but it really didn’t work for most songs I played.

I still prefer the flute overall. It has less range, but it plays with more response and has better quality recordings. But that’s a different topic…

Can’t say I can back you up with the changes to horn though. I wonder what others think…
