I know this has probably been discussed to death, but I tried searching the forums and couldn’t find an answer.

Why is PvP Masquerade Armor unavailable in PvE?

This is IMO one of the coolest looking sets in the game, especially for male scholars. At the moment it’s only available if you’re at Wolf rank or higher.

Why isn’t there a PvE version of this set?! It’s such a shame!

No it’s not. In fact they will be adding more unique PvP skins.

OP, I got that armor after hitting Wolf rank. Btw, this is the last week you can earn it with glory and we have bonus glory and rank points over the weekend if you want to try for it.

They said they intend to merge the PvP and PvE skins so the ones you have can be used in either setting. When? Who knows. But it is an announced planned feature change.

I read somewhere that arenanet did this to make people do more pvp (because the amor is only available there)
ps: You can find some rubric pieces in pve.

Well we know that all armor in pvp will be available in pve and vice versa.
I would like to know, if you buy your cultural armors in pvp will it count for the title Emperor in pve?

We have gotten no further information to what will happen to the PvP locker. And if it’s still going to happen, because it won’t be the first time something “didn’t go according to plan so we had to cancel it”.

I really wish I could get the rest of the Rubric set in PVE.

The Stalwart armor is in the same boat as Rubric (you get the chest piece as a personal story reward, then nothing), as well as the Commando set (you get everything but gloves and boots from late in the personal story).
