Q:
Mass reporting players at Shank Anchorage.
A:
Someone will check if you did anything wrong. If you didn’t do anything wrong (completing an event isn’t wrong, abusive language is, even if you didn’t start it), you won’t get banned.
However, if someone reports too many persons without a valid reason (blocking a farm isn’t a valid reason), he will get banned.
Dont worry they check each denunce. Also if a player denunce people for something that isnt object of amonestation, he can be banned.
I think you are fine unless the people issuing bans have gone completely out of their minds. More like these people will be warned about abusing the report feature.
While I don’t know…
Just goes to show you how toxic the community can become when they find a good farming spot.
I went to Cursed Shores today just to take a peak at the ‘zerg train’ and the first thing I saw in map chat were people threatening others with reporting them if they didn’t cooperate with w/e they’re doing.
The chat all over lately has been going downhill. I’ve hit the report button more in the past couple weeks than I have since the game started. Maybe is just because the 2 week limited content thing is forcing more people into smaller spaces. I dunno.
Congrats to SFD for heroically completing the Orr quests. It can be pretty hard to finish them with all the champs up, it just goes to show that SFD is a pro tier PvE guild, no matter what server they guest on!!!
edit: it would be cool too if Anet could shorten Shank Anchorage to just Shankorage, might free up some resources to reduce culling even further
I don’t know if you get insta-banned if you get reported enough times. But one thing I do know is that abusing the report function is a bannable offense. Hopefully people who are reporting overs who actually want to play the game the way it was designed get what they deserve.
