Massive game client disconnects at Tequatl?
No, seems to have gone fine on the ones I guested to today
Not just at Tequatl- I’m getting at least one massive crash per session, for just over a week now.

Because we can’t be angry about both?
If it was JUST the game – everyone would be having issues. I would check the amount of lag and dropped packets going through your ISP. When I had this exact issue, I found out it was my ISP.
Remember there is plenty of equipment between the GW2 server and your PC. People seem to ignore that fact.
They should organize, that your server get’s a placeholder for a few minutes if you disconnect, so you can reconnect and and finish the activities you were doing. No Idea if that’s possible to implement, since they have massive problems with grouping anyway…
That is a serious weakness of the megaserver system, especially that it instantly drops your progress on any sort of logout. (char change)
This issue was happening to me. Solution? Upgraded my internet. Router and modem were fine, but I needed to actually call my internet provider and activate an upgrade that cost $15 more a month, but tripled my speed. Not all providers upgrade you automatically if their plans change.

Don’t know how to do that. But it just started today for me. Wonder if it had to do with not being active on the map while waiting for the event? Anyway, when coming back to a different map I noticed more players complaining about this.

Easy – Under the ol’ command prompt “tracert www.guildwars2.com” – just type "tracert’ and it will give you a help screen under the command prompt. You can see how bad mine is – 2 routers in the stream are timing out.
