So , i need a ascended backpiece and decided to buy LS2 cause you get a few cool things from the achivements and etc but what i want is mawdrey so i got everything i need for it that , now i just need a guide cause i found out tons of guides but they are so complicated , can anyone give me a decent guide ? thanks

Even the wiki covers it, along with a shopping list (of sorts). I personally don’t like any of the guides, so I made my own for personal use and I know of people who prefer dulfy, some that prefer the wiki, and many choose the efficiency guide. There are plenty of others, too, if you google.

gw2efficiency.com will tell you exactly what you need at the moment to craft it. I don’t know how I played this game without that site! All you need to do is get a API code from your account page and paste it into the site after you register. It’ll keep track of your things and help with crafting.

I’m amazed that even I, a very casual PvE’r who is only on for an hour or two a day, was able to make Mawdrey. It’s very time-consuming, but it certainly felt like the most doable of the ascended things.

Don’t you need to do fractals to complete Mawdrey, not just PVE? I want to make it but not a huge fractal lover.

There is a minimal amount required to get one of the ingredients, but it seemed to be very quick if I remember correctly.

I think you just need the +5 pink agony infusion — you can get that from the TP.

I definitely missed (ahem) the Mists Stone. Unfortunately that’s in addition to a +5 ascended infusion needed to produce the Destroyer Heated Stone .

tl;dr you need two things associated with fractals

• The Mists Stone, which requires obtaining 5 fractal relics (can be done with a single fractal, depending on the level)
• +5 (ascended) agony infusion — can be bought on the TP or earned (also possible with a single instance, although not as easy as above)

Haha woops looks like I overlooked needing the infusion as well as the mists stone! It’s been a while since I crafted it!

The two things I personally have left is the 5 fractal relics and the foxfire cluster/clump/whatever you get from defeating the dragon that attacked the Pale Tree. Other than that everything else is ready to go.
