I was wondering if it was possible to get a gemstore upgrade wich increases the number of guild an account can be a part of. Is there some technical limitation hampering such a thing?

No I would guess they dont want people to have more then 5 bank guilds really.
Since it negates buying bank/bag upgrades for account/characters.
I’d think the functionality between the options is different enough to validate the option for more guildslots. If the worry is that it diminishes the sales of other upgrades then make the price the same as it would cost to create a mule/storage character.
