Guild Wars 2

It has been a long time since last I played GW2, not sure how long. Due to enjoying WPVP and feeling somewhat repelled by WoD I have recently gone back to playing SWTOR and TSW. Googling for where is the best MMOPVP GW2 seems to top the list and surface repeatedly as the probable best MMOPVP for me. That is due to Eve is not a game I will play, too much like etch-a-sketch when i look at the gaphics.

WoW I played off and on since it was released 10 years ago and really enjoyed playing my Disp Priest,DK, Hunter … 6 nearly 8 level 100s there now; but the Priest and BG healing was my favorite. In GW2 I have a lvl 80 Necro and 4 other low to mid level characters. Reviewing them, I remember nothing. Really, lol, nothing. PVE will never attract me. Big massive brawls however do and I can play them for hours upon hours, day after day.

So I login, have the treasure boxes winking at me, stuff I don’t remember, skills I don’t remember, the city it even more different than when I 1st started and I don’t even know where to go or how to get there. Considering deleting one of my characters to start from scratch; but before I do that came here to see what feedback I can get.

So I am on Blackgate with at least a level 80 Human Necromancer (gawd she looks so hawt too), with 44% of the map complete. I am not feeling like joining a guild and I need to refresh my knowledge of this game or just play another game I remember how to play.

What would you do and why, if you really just wanted to play in big world pvp brawls and you just logged into an inactive for 2 years GW2 account?

If you need any help with PvE or PvP but not WvW, im with TC matched up to you guys in WvW. PM me in game. If your looking for a guild just ask in map chat or so on, lots desperate guilds on BG. I also came from SWtOR and WoW. GW2 kind of perfects what they didnt. I would say GW2’s PvP system is better than WoW and Equal with SWtOR. This is debatable though.

start over on a new character. best advice i can give you. once you get the hang again, return to your “main”

Don’t delete characters that are over a year old, because they have all traits unlocked
while for new character you have to unlock them often with tedious tasks or paying
a lot of money/skillpoints.

Ty for the quick responses and offer for help. Seriously considering buying another character slot and starting from scratch, it does seem the most logical. Checking into the characters lot now.

If your starting a new character look at something easy eg. Ranger, Warrior.
