Hello everyone!
First of all i want to apologize for huge post but i couldn’t make it smaller (lol) and for my poor English.
I’m making this post because i wanted to share my and see your thoughts about game and give a few suggestions to anet team if they ever see this.
This game overall is a masterpiece but with some huge flaws that i will cover little bit later.I’m warrior lvl 80 from Gandara who has 100% world completion, finished story and full exotic gear with almost every skin i need for my char.
Also i did almost every dungeon path there is in the game. Now when i introduced myself I’m gonna start with character creation, gear & dye system, crafting, pve content, wvwvw and finally spvp.

1.Character creation
I think we all can agree on that gw2 looks beyond beautiful and so does the chars u create. When u create char in gw2 it gives u that feeling that
your epic journey is about to begin. You are a hero that is gonna change a whole world BUT some of options were ridiculous like that circus one. What is that about,
are u creating a epic story of a warrior who is changing the world or a circus maximus?Ok let’s pass that…Appearance options are good since it gives u freedom
to create any kind of body structure you want (chubby, lean, huge muscular body…whatever) but i was little disappointed in number of hair styles.Overall i really liked char creation with a few exceptions..

2.Gear & dye system
Yes gear…While lvling my char i always thought that my gear appearance was little odd…Almost every armor looks the same till lvl 80,even crafted ones. That was little
frustrating because i care a lot of my char appearance. That is something that should be worked on.I understand that he reason of this is micro transactions and buying sets fro diamond shop but still it’s not that hard to make a few kinds of armor every 10 lvl…
80 lvl armors look amazing i have to admit it…I spend few hours trying to find perfect set for my warrior and it was great experience.
I love the idea of max stat armor (exotics) and doing dungeons for coins so u can change appearance of your char BUT acquiring exotic gear is an easy task and doing dungeons with ppl that know what are they doing is also easy. That’s why I’m already done with this part of the game.I’ll cover this more in pve paragraph.
Your dye system is best i have ever seen and i have to congratz you on this. This idea of obtaining dyes, reusing it and option of coloring your armor whenever u want is
astonishing. One little suggestion on this is that u should make a option to dye weapons as well.I know u have more important things to do now but somewhere in the future me and few others would appreciate this.

3.Crafting
EXP for crafting! What?Yea u get exp for crafting…I don’t know who’s idea was this but it was….BRILLIANT!This game gives u a complete freedom on account of lvling your char. You can do it via gathering, crafting, dynamic events, whatever…Now when we cleared this part lets get little bit serious.Crafting interface window is neat simple and with some great options which can save u some time scrolling around.Idea of discovery is kitten great, especially for newcomers. It gives u that feeling that you are making something what no one has done before.Big fan of crafting in gw2,good job anet.Lets set aside all this great things that anet accomplished with crafting and take a good look at 400 skill lvl items u can craft. This is a major problem that needs to be handled in a near future…When u acquire 400 skill there is no going forward from that point its static. No new recipes that (should be appearance based) will eventually kill crafting economy. It will get to a point when exotics will be that cheap that u cant make any gold by doing it,instead u will lose gold. This is already happening with all this new 80’s that are undercutting for large amount of silver coins just to get some gold for gearing up.This must be taken care of.

4.PVE
I’m gonna cover pve content trough few factors:

a)personal story
b)dynamic events
c)dungeons

a)personal story
I’m not the expert on this part because this is first mmorpg in which i saw this but ill cover it a bit.I think it was cool and challenging on some parts.
It really gave me goose bumps sometimes. But i expected more than few possible paths for it but maybe i expected too much.
SPOILER ALERT!
Only thing that disappointed me in personal story is fight with zhaitan…I mean there was no thrill of any kind doing it and it was quite easy.
Maybe if it was little bit more difficult the ending of our personal saga would be more memorable.
END OF SPOILER.
Taking everything in account personal story was good experience for me.

b)dynamic events
Same as personal story i haven’t had any idea how this is gonna work out.Tbh i was little bit skeptical about this but I’m glad i was wrong after all.
First 40 lvl i was really enjoying events and i did everyone i came across to.Exploration, vistas and events made every map very memorable. This game is plain beautiful and it would be wrong not to spend time on exploring and doing chain events.I had a blast doing this events and this will be the type of questing in a future mmorpgs, that’s for sure.Only problem i encountered with this events is that after some time and map completion u come across same types of events and it feels like you are repeating same things overand over again. Not that a huge of a problem but it would be nice to see more unique events on each map.
One of the biggest disappointment were last 3 orr zones.I understand that risen and ruins of orr are big part of a story but numbers of hostile npcs there are ridiculous.Amount of stats and hp on that npcs needs to be nerfed down. And skills they have are really, really annoying. There is no path on the map where u can pass without luring at least few of this risen.I was never a fan of undead of any kind, can u imagine my facial expression when i saw 3 zones full of them?Except of this annoying npcs the landscape of this 3 zones was really a letdown. After all that beautiful stuff i came across earlier all i saw was death and decay.I wondered from the subject here but i had to say it…I did all dynamic events in orr and there is no epic chains that we were promised.Fighting a dragons and behemoth was really fun experience but i wasn’t able to enjoy it in a full due my lack of fps in this large events…Overall this is the best way of questing i’ve ever seen but theres still alot of work with it.Big thanks to anet.

c)dungeons
I was doing dungeons with set of ppl from my guild who all are veterans in mmorpg. We struggled a bit in few first runs because we were still trying to adjust to new combatsystem that anet set.Big fan of this “one wrong move and ur down” dungeons. It should be difficult after all it is the end game.I passed this dungeons even few of them were bugged at the time but as i said my team is very capable.Problem was after awhile this dungeons were pretty easy for us and with this new dungeon system being bugged we got lesser coins than it was mentioned in change log…With all this bugs, small rewards, big repair fees alot of ppl ignore dungeons
.For some its very hard to find a grp for certain dungeon and it really makes me sad.Anet is fixing all this problems and they are trying to make this experience much less frustrating and more rewarding for your efforts.
This game is still new and anet is working really hard to fix this problems just give them little bit more time.Aside from this i noticed that in some dungeons trash is much harder than actual boss at the end of it.Boss should feel like some kind of achievement but in the most cases it,doesn’t.There is few boss mechanics that i really love, like in SE explorable path there is a 2 golems that u need to kill at the same time to finish the instance. We figured it out after one of the golems repaired to full hp but it was really cool.We need more of that mechanics in boss fights and little bit less of move from red circle fights. Conclusion dungeons have to give u bigger silver rewards because of all repairs(at least for explorable version) and to encourage ppl to actually do it for some kind of profit but balance it well so it doesn’t ruin game economy,i wouldn’t touch coin gain of dungeon a lot it should be hard to get those exotics. Also i would suggest u to make some kind of hard mode for instances for more hard core gamers because this game feels little bit too casual.

5.WVWVW
Khm,yea the most epic battleground gamers have ever seen. This is my favourite part of this game.I’m one of those lord of the rings massive fight fans and this is just the
last piece of puzzle to make this game of my choice. But atm im not able to play wvwvw due to my lack of fps.My configuration is 4 years old and it barely meets the req.I hope i’m gonna upgrade my comp in few following weeks but i would like to draw attention on type of optimization that anet presented us.
This game as it stands atm isn’t optimal in spending given resources. This is nothing new and its problems is in the engine of the game. Now side effect of this problem is massive fights where u cant see your enemy which happens because of large rendering scale…This problem is game breaking and with bot problem it makes really hard to do w3.My server doesn’t have bot problems but i saw few video clips from other servers and its not a pretty sight. There’s enormous amount of work on w3 and I’m really looking forward to epic scale battles. But until then i wont be seeing w3 much.Idea of w3 was great but i expected better presentation from anet.

6.Spvp
This part of the game is most polished by far. There will be some class balancing but there’s not anything game breaking.I would salute to anet spvp team because they did a really good job.Only thing i have been missing in spvp is 2v2 and 3v3 random battles as a lot of you may know it as arenas. There’s a few reasons i miss this.
First one is that I’m playing with all have some kind job jobs,or they go to a college so it will be hard when pvp ladders are released to gather all this ppl for pvp.Second reason is that I’m missing death match type of pvp (last man standing wins).I have no idea how this ladders are gonna look like but this 2v2 and 3v3 are core for mmo pvp.I did my fair share of reading other ppl suggestions and many agree with me.Same as 2v2 and 3v3 duels are essential part of pvp community because it gives u insight in other classes and ways of defeating classes with different builds.I hope that in near future anet is gonna consider implementing this because it would enrich already great pvp community.

Thank you guys for reading this i know that i may be overwhelming but i had to write my own thoughts of this beautiful game.Constructive criticism on the post and my personal thoughts are always welcome as well as suggestions that would set this game to shine even brighter.

Only one I’m gonna comment on here is Character Creation: I loved the range of options … not everyone walks into the world a hero. For my character I got to be a street rat whose big dream was to join the circus and see the world; not some savior of legend born with a star on her head and destined to poke the eyes from the dragons with her fingertips. I think it’s fantastic that they give you choices great and small, then let you decide what to do with them. (if anything)

I’m sorry I stepped outta yer box, don’ worry, if
ya whine enough they’ll put me right back.
