Does anyone else feel as though Medium armor is a bit bland? Like… light armor looks like someone spent a lot of time creating those skins… and heavy armor has all of the amazing spikes, horns, and such. And then the Mediums only get a coat and rainy weather clothing.

Just want to know if anyone else feels like me and wants something more… fancy, elaborate, and eye catching for medium armors.

I mean i know the newer skins in the gem store look a bit better but the original armors for mediums are really really bland and then each time the light armors or heavy armors get something overly complex and intricate in gem store and it just frustrates me that the medium armors just get some shabby rainy weather clothing

Give your opinions on this…

All the armor sets seem to be a bit limited for a game of this size. I suppose it is a big deal to create armor for the various races and sexes so copy and paste was used to create many of them. Hopefully they will eventually diversify the looks of each set a bit.

I mean heavy armor people have horns and spikes and other such things to keep them looking intimidating.
Light armor have extremely ornamented armor and such
Medium armor just seems to be lacking in the style department and by that i mean it looks way too flat
But I just have to hope for the best that in the next few patches they implement some medium armor that doesn’t look like I’m going for a walk in rainy weather

The only medium armor’s I really like are magitech, krytan and t3 armor on human female.

Two of them are gem shop armor’s, so there is something wrong here.

Yeah, only for about the 1.5 years or so it’s been out…

Yeah…amazing… Heavy armor is pretty bad as well. Only light have a decent selection.

The ascended armor certainly fits all those criterias, not so sure it makes it an awesome skin

This is all we can hope for now. Better skins in CS (and hopefully in game through LS…), I doubt they’ll do anything about the old skins.

It doesn’t have to be overly complex and intricate, sure they could add some, but for me I just want something different (and that goes true for heavy as well, something else than spikes please). But people have been discussing this since day one, I don’t anticipate a lot of change, Heck some clippings have not even been fixed yet (Charrs know what I talk about).

Give medium armor capes and I’ll call it even.

That is an understatement. Its always trenchcoat this and trenchcoat that. For god sake, the ones that aren’t trenchcoats are either coat you some gems or tons and tons of gold. They could simply reuse some armor from GW 1 like these:

But that would never come to play, at all.

i feel as though they just decided to focus all their efforts on light armor. Light armor already have A WHOLE RANGE of outfits to choose from. I want to suggest that Arenanet take some other medium armors into consideration for some pizazz. there’s plenty of creativity in those minds being spent on everything other than medium armor. It makes me feel as though Arenanet just decided to completely ignore the newer professions such as thief and engineer which are medium armored.

Not to mention Engineers rely on their kits so legendaries wont even matter for them as they wont ever show. I feel as though Engineers are the worst at getting fancy due to the armor being almost all the same in bland design and kits replacing legendary weapons. I want my main which is an Engineer to actually look good for once. Is it too much to ask for some attention to medium armors?
