I just wanted to ask and see which times will actually be valid for the spawning of the mega bosses. I know server time is now UTC, but in the patch notes UTC time jumps an hour ahead of the PST spawn time between the 17:00 UTC (10:00 PST) spawn of Evolved Jungle Wurm, and the 19:00 UTC (11:00 PST) spawn of Karka Queen.

Is this a typo? And for which time will it actually spawn? Or is there an invisible hour that I don’t know about anywhere else?! D=

I noticed this as well. I think instead of PST they mean PDT, which is 1 hour ahead. Teq spawned at 9:00 PDT not 9:00 PST. So, I think best to follow the UTC.

It also shows the events time on my local time somehow. I don’t know if it does this for anyone else.

Just use server time under options in game. Server time is UTC.

They gave us no sequence for either of the 2 lower boss cycles and said nothing about whether events would run simultaneously.

Always more of their mystery.

I hope that people will request Anet to either make a webpage with the new timers or even better place a UI in the game for timers.

Because while you may know what EST/EDT time zone is, the rest of the world doesn’t, nor do they care, just as many don’t care or know what UTC is. Just think of how many people don’t even know the time zone next to theirs? How are they going to know one on another continent? This game is NA/EU (and now) China, with anywhere else in the world able to access it as well. Besides, It was listed with Pacific time (they always say PST even when it’s actually Daylight savings) which you just have to add 3 hours to…
