With the new Mega Servers, how do you find the populated servers for world bosses?

I am missing a couple achievements to complete a few of the world bosses and can never find a server with enough people on it to complete the achievements I need, let alone the events.

I haven’t seen a world boss that didn’t have a lot of people

Check the schedule and hop into the next world boss event on the list, then go thru the rotation. You can easily get a group once you are in rotation.

You can also check LFG for a group.

The only time you would not be able to get into the main maps with lots of people is when Teq is up or that particular map is in the dailies or the world boss is a daily.
If not, you won’t have trouble finding a zerg at each world boss when they are about to spawn.

jump to the event you want 30mins-1hr before it’s scheduled and just idle (staying active often enough to not get d/c’d). The way the megaserver works is to drop a majority of people into certain “open” maps and try to close up others by giving voluntary transfers into an open map.

Either way this should get you into the boss train map 90% of the time

I’m confused, with the mega servers you should almost always find populated instances for world bosses. Unless you are showing up the very moment it spawns….and even then you should still be fine if it’s one of the easier ones. It was MUCH worse for people before the megaservers. The more sparsely populated servers had a hard time with the more difficult bosses like teq (hell, they sometimes failed some of the easier ones too because they didn’t have enough people) and to get onto the high pop servers like JQ and BG you needed to show up well in advance or you would be stuck in an overflow with no world boss (unless you were really lucky and one happened to spawn, but in those days the bosses in the overflows were not synced up with the real servers boss events). The megaservers are a blessing.

Anyway, what bosses are you looking to do? If it’s teq you need to get there a bit early because that actually takes some organization. If it’s triple trouble you will need to find an organized group like TTS, Att, EG, etc. if you want all the achievements.

Worst analysis of megaservers ever…

Before megaservers, all slackers chose the easy way => guesting into a populated server instead of doing it on their own.
After megaservers, all maps become an overflow => slackers again choose the easy way, which is LFG tool.

I really wanna see you find a populated an organized map without using LFG tool at least 30 minutes before a Tequatl or Triple kitten event.

Most PUG maps can down Teq as long as you get into a map early enough.

If you want to do and organized TT, then do it with TTS Gamers.

30 minutes? Try almost 2 hours. Because that’s about how much in advance you had to show up to Teq on JQ in those days. Especially because of all the guesters. It’s a hell of a lot better now. And teq is pretty easy nowadays. I mean he should go 30 minutes ahead of time just in case, but I’ve been on maps with only 15 minutes to Teq. TT is another story entirely. Which is why I mentioned those organized groups.
