I’m extremely pleased and excited for the changes to guild servers. I’m also especially pleased to see that they will refund influence to redundant upgrades and keep guild bank items safe.
I do have a question though: maybe I missed it on the article, how will European server v NA server guild merging be treated? I’m guessing they’ll still be separate but I’m wondering.
They keep say ‘global’. But it is not global if the regions are separate. When I first heard of the guild merge, I had high hopes. I think it will be ‘global’ only within each region.
I’d like to add a related question: How are guild upgrades/banks on “orphaned” servers (as in servers where members of the guild played but have since moved to other servers) handled?
My account is part of two guilds that are both located on different servers (none of them my home world). Lately I have considered moving this account to one of those servers (mostly to be able to WvW with my guild friends there). If I do so before the global guilds upgrade, will the collected influence and upgrades/guild vault content still be transfered to the main guild after Sep 9?
(if there is a global questions/feedback thread for the guild changes that I didn’t find, please don’t hesitate to point me there)
