Could the guild influence issue gains for cross server members be fixed? Megaserver was implemented without regard for the servers separate communities. Can the influence gains for off server members at least be fixed so they gain influence for the guilds they are representing? It should not be server based, because Megaserver made no server a singular entity.

There are certain recruitment damages that the rollout of Megaserver has caused and have been voiced. As a large portion of the game is World Vs World, recruiting since Megaserver has been reduced in scale to these areas of play so as to ensure the players are from the target recruitment servers. WvW is a big deal and recruitment of newer players in pve zones should be a part of it. Trouble is that Megaserver allows any server members to be within those zones. A wvw guild cannot recruit from anywhere but a WvW zone because of Megaserver. A PvE guild cannot recruit in a PVE zone because of megaserver. Both cannot recruit with any trust in the members that they are from the guilds main server. This is a problem. How this is dealt with in regards to WvW…well…if a server based wvw guild were to recruit someone from another server into their ranks can there be another type of currency instead of influence that is “Mercenary” currency? Idk, maybe it could lead to a different line of skins, achievements, ect, encouraging people to be guild diverse and not just one guild, one server. Also there might be a “Loyalist” currency for those within the server guilds…idk, random ideas from this kitten up, i’m not sure how to fix it, but Megaserver is here and there needs to be a few issues addressed. Any input is welcome.
