Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone,

I am a player from Piken Square who enjoys to dabble in a bit of roleplay every now and then. Though when I go into Divinity’s Reach to see what’s happening, there are events where I am isolated from the main portion of Divinity’s Reach that belongs to my home realm. So, instead of seeing a bristling and fun RP community interacting off each other I instead see empty cobblestone streets and the occasional bunnyhopping player come by.

There is a solution, of course. Add someone who is in the good part of the server to a party, and teleport to him/her. Though I don’t have many friends I can call upon to be my porting point. Would it be an idea to add a certain instance list like in Guild Wars 1? So the RP’ers can choose, for example, to always RP in Instance #3. That way we always have a way to find each other and it shouldn’t be the most populated one either.

There should have been an RP flag available to players no doubt.

This will be implemented in the upcoming 2017 Feature Patch, after #1 priority China of course.

The year after that Eternity will finally be fixed.

Man I can’t even get my friend, who is in my party, in the same guild, the same server, and plays at the same times as me, in the same megaserver instances with me, we’re forever having to bridge locations.

It is indeed frustrating Teranar. Though all they need to do is show us the instance list. The home worlds are just for wvwvw now anyway. The instance lists actually -are- there already, but if we get to choose, we could always designate a certain instance to RP.

The solution could be simple, as far as I know. Would love to hear something back about this.

Edit: Nevermind, I just saw the really large thread about this already. Ignore this thread. ^^

Just add a RP server players can chose to be their host server and not their main server in the list and make RP official, then everything would be so much simpler.
