In the future if a Melee Scepter Specialization would get added, who should get it, and how should it work?

Melee scepter? That would be Warrior. They can beat their opponent over the head with it.

That’s not true. In the real world scepters were originally used as melee weapons. They did get replaced by maces though and scepters were repurposed as decoration items and status symbols.

That’s not true. In the real world scepters were originally used as melee weapons. They did get replaced by maces though and scepters were repurposed as decoration items and status symbols.

Wiki says that the scepter started out as staffs. They then undoubtably shrank in size as their use became ceremonial and became the scepter.

One of the earliest royal sceptres was discovered in the tomb of Khasekhemwy in Abydos. what do mean ‘modern scepter’ we dont tend to use those much any more and when they are used they are purely ceremonial. Scepters are just an abstracted representation of a melee weapon, rather than actually being one. and clubs are just fire-hardened sticks with bits of rock or metal fastened to them.

What? No. In the ‘real world’, a scepter was just a a decorative mace meant to show wealth and authority rather than be used in combat. Do you really think cave-men and beyond thought to ‘pretty up’ their bashing and smashing instruments before they thought to bash and smash with them?

On a serious note: maces already fill the “blunt one-handed weapon” role so I don’t think a melee scepter is needed.

On a semi-serious note: Forget about a melee scepter, we need a scepter offhand!

By rifle or longbow I hope you mean Main-Hand Torch and Off-hand Torch with lots of Hadoukens.
