Batman did, because they’re the weapon skins we deserve, but not the ones we need right now.

While I’m certainly not a fan of them, and my tickets are definitely safe from being spent this time, it’s nice that there are less flashy/simple skins which I do think is needed every now and then.

They’re gorgeous. Really solidly made and they all look real. I’m glad I saved and didn’t spend tickets on Plasma, now I can get 4 of these lovelies.

Has anyone gotten the whip focus or the rifle? Do they do anything unusual when wielded, animation or sound wise?

Most of them were nice, except the greatsword.

Now, I looove the greatsword. It’s the pistol I find ridiculous. Tastes vary!

I believe I’ll be getting mace, gs, focus, and scepter. Not that I have any mace users atm but that skin is too perfect.

Im glad its yet another set of skins to gemstore while HoT released.. basically nothing.
I like mace, rest is fugly btw.

Nice touch putting the spikes below on the rifle where it rests on your hand…
Only thing that really stands out is the shield.

I think there should be more flashy skins in the game especially with the black lion skins, more than enough non flashy stuff already in the game for free.

But the rifle…. How do you even hold it..

In order to balance my post about the Slayer’s Outfit…I want to say I like this set. While I I don’t like EVERY weapon, I do like the set overall. Simple is good once in a while, as was said by someone before. I will probably be picking up at least one of these…maybe 2 or 3.

And if that whip snaps when using a focus skill…i am all over it for my Necro…:)

I will admit that I do like the mace. Kinda like the pistols and daggers, too. But not enough to spend a ticket on any of it.

the only real amazing thign wouldk be, if we get finalyl whips as a real new weapon type, not something like this wannabe whip that is in fact a focus >.>

Hopefully ANet proves also soon in the future with new Elite Specs, that they can implement also finally new weapon types like Whips, Lances, Greataxes, Crossbows, Claws/Gauntlets and Chakrams/Boomerangs as they would be a great potential for interesting new Specs.

Yeah, my sentiments exactly though I do like the mace…best mace design yet I would say.
My main concern is that we are now going to get a flood of dominatrix redesigned characters from all the “g.i.r.l.s” using that focus :/

These are great, I like subtle weapon skins. Far too many people in this game make their characters look like rainbow vomit.

Well i can only say.. i dig em, all of them. They look lethal, painfull and you can actually make out the very fine details cause they arent swallowed up by particle effects. Also their size is decent for the most part. Already bought the pistol and sword and boy does that sword look sharp. For once its not an oversized mess of stuff. Its small, looks lightweight and most important it looks really cool. The pistol is an oddball if i ever saw one..but if thats not a thief offhand firearm then i dunno anymore. It even got a darn dagger attached to it, love it. Those are going on my thief…if i ever make a proper build with the alt i got laying arround since 1 year now. Not really too good with that class but whatever. Staff and mace are on my list too, just ran out of tickets…so that gotta wait a bit but ill get em for sure. Also the axe is seriosly painfull looking…might need that one too..ill see what comes.

9.5\10 from me. Only complaint would be the size of the shield.. this one should be pretty large imo, but then again…eh.. looks great.

I like the Axe, but not enough to use tickets on. Not been any that I think are really nice in a long time. The gallant where probably the last ones, but they are not that great.

They’re not really my cup of tea, but they aren’t really bad skins for the most part.

I really don’t like the random spike patches on some of the weapons for no reason, though. Like the longbow, and the hilts of the swords.

Also, ’dat pistol. Just no.

Yeah, the pistol would have worked a lot better as a proper gunblade.

One of the best weapon sets to come out in a long time. Massive kudos to the art department – and great timing considering the style sale from two weeks back.

Did you guys know that back in June Dulfy actually revealed one of these skins through a datamine?

The Merciless Short Bow was called the “Shadow Assassin Short Bow” back then. It’s the exact same skin. Same icon, same model. I checked with google and it’s the same.

I got the dagger and short bow skins, and I feel like an assassin now.

These are, for the most part – solid, smooth & pretty realistic looking weapons. The ones I definitely like are the axe, focus & mace. This is coming from a person who rarely uses those kinds of weapons.

But yes, agreed with others… my only gripe is the full on awkwardness on the placement of blades. Who places a blade near the trigger of your pistol/rifle like that? Ouch. That and the thinness of the shield is a bit disappointing. I love shields. Maybe I’ve only viewed it on my Charr so far but anyway, decent skins for once! The textures are awesome; especially on the whip focus.

Love the fact every weapon can be a stabby weapon. It’s a set for Spiky McSpikester or a metal head. There’s got to be a studded leather outfit or armor set that goes with it.

Agree look realy good, nice design…tho I love particle effects and theres non….should been something like “supersharp shine effect” . Anyway, nice work.

Were you referring to the width? Still that is at least as big as a buckler. I guess it would be terrible against arrows.
