Solutions: Don’t Panic!

Eh, but in all seriousness, I don’t really mind either way. I don’t spam my keys.

Maybe it’s just because I’ve played thief but I’m not sure that ‘panic-spamming keys gets me killed’ really qualifies as a QOL problem.

Referring here to the same key, which is a thing that turns out to be a bad idea when the skills will actually execute repeatedly.

This really just strikes me as a bad reason to complain. They’ve made something more responsive and now you have to be careful with it. It’s not like hitting [interact] more times makes you go in any faster, it just let you be careless before and now you can’t.

I think the title is overblown. Maybe instead:

PSA: don’t spam [f] on mesmer portals — there is no cooldown between using the exit port returning

In general, if you do spam [f], you won’t die, so it’s not helpful to claim that “mesmer portal will kill you.” Plus, it’s easily prevented by not spamming [f].

I was running CoF p1 with friends a few days ago.
we get to the part with the boulders.
I drop portal enter, run through boulders, drop portal exit in path of last boulder.
suddenly all 4 of them died at once.
I’ve been wanting to try that for so long :P
