Hey!

Does anyone else have problems accessing the metabattle website? Whenever I try to access it I get redirected to some ugly ads. Every other website I try works fine, even links through google works, so I doubt it is virus/malware related, only metabattle does this.
It is weird.

The site appears to have been taken over. Usually this is a malicious ad that redirects the page, but in this case, they’re actually doing a redirect themselves (301 moved), which flips through a bunch of ad sites. I would assume that their site was hacked, or they’ve abandoned it.

Thank you for answering. I hope they can fix it, I’m not a great build maker, so I quite like their website. If it stays down however, I’ll just have to roll up the sleeves and attempt to make the build myself.

If you needed something, you can try web.archive.org or searching google for site:metabattle.com and using their cache (cache:metabattle.com).

I just tried it then, worked fine for me.

@OP – try a different browser and/or PC. Your normal browser may have picked up an unwanted plug-in or add-on
