Any guesses as to how much benefit the new Metal API will have on Guild Wars 2 (or how much it will break? I’m slightly worried that Metal will actually break the Mac Beta and prevent support for the latest operating system for a bit until the wrapper can be updated…
None, gw2 doesn’t even touch the native OSX, it’s running in kind of a windows emulator with directX support.
I think it’s Wine or one of the other wrappers. Anyway, the wrapper can be updated for the client rather easily once it gets it’s own update for whatever the flavor of the month apple is doing.
