There are lots of things to spend karma on… that’s like saying, I have 10,000g and nothing to spend it on… no you have lots of stuff to spend it on, you are just choosing not to.

umm yeah not into this for grinding the craftings stuff and legendary. the 1 million karma is just from playing from launch..

if we could convert to gems that be GREAT! karma just seems like a waste for the normal player. the million of it was not hard to do in the year of launch.. just nothing to spend it on.

I spent about 200k on obsidian shards a few weeks back and still have 3.3 million karma now and still fear I don’t have enough!

Always got to be prepared and all that. :P

You kinda have to know what you want to start drawing a line between where you are now and having it.

You can convert it to gems!

trade karma for the orrian boxes, which contain some very sellable mats + even the junk is worth a bit.
You can then trade that gold for gems.

As others have said, keep at least 200k in reserve; you never know when you’ll want to outfit an alt, or some content in the near future may require bucketloads of it.

My brother spent around 1m karma in buying rare weapons in WvW and throwing them in the MF. You get a few gold, if and if are a lucky mofo you can get a precursor.

That was months ago, tho, don’t know if they changed it.

Don’t worry, the problem of too few uses for karma has been solved. Any new players will not be able to get as much karma as you did. And yet, they will have exactly the same low amounts of things to spend it on.

I dont feel the difference. I got roughly 3m Karma since the nerf by playing normally and not intentionally farming for it (mainly from WvW)

You must not play very many hours.

I have almost 1 million karma again now however long after the big nerf. I haven’t been saving it either, crafting with obsidian shards every day, ascended recipes…

Hey, OP, if you don’t have your thirst slayer achievement and you care about that sort of thing, you can get booze for karma.
