Just wanted to open topic to find info on this mini and in way kitty that goes to personal home instance.

“The Feline Familliar is a random event in the Mad King area! It wants food but I have no idea what yet. An icon will appear like you do when you return magic, click it before it vanishes.”

Important point: There are 2 completely separate Feline Familiars.

1) Just called Feline Familiar. Summoned by using a Witch’s Broom (toy) skill. This can appear anywhere a player with the toy broom is standing.

This is the one you can feed Masterwork a Frog in a Jar to. Follow it around and the ‘special action’ icon will appear (the one you use for situational skills in LS3), then you can feed it the frog.

2) Mini Feline Familiar. It’s listed in the wardrobe but no one knows how to actually obtain it yet.

It might be related to the hungry cat scavenget hunt. It might be an unreleased Halloween reward (or simply a stupidly rare drop no one has gotten yet), or it might be a gem store item that’s not been released yet (those often appear in the wardrobe before they’re on sale). Or it might be something completely different.

This is good to know….
I’ve been looking for trick or treat bags like crazy to get this mini. At least I know now that it is not just bad luck that I didn’t get one

It’s not a gem store release. I have seen someone with the Mini Familiar Feline two days ago in Lion’s Arch.

Are you sure it wasn’t the Feline Familiar that’s summoned by someone with an Enchanted Broom?

The mini drops from Trick or Treat bags…and it is extremely rare…only a few have been lucky enough to get them. RNG strikes again!

No one knows how to get it yet. If someone HAS actually gotten it, they should update the wiki page’s Acquisition section. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mini_Feline_Familiar

The mini Feline Familiar is available in the gem store right now for 350 gems.
