It’s been speculated that this was specifically a China release exclusive. We may never see it. Closest thing to it is the Finisher atm.

I hope so! But it’s a bit too big at the moment. Would be fine if it’s only as large as mini kuunavang.

All the minis seem to look bigger in the preview window. The mini toxic hybrid looks about 1/2 the height of my (nearly max height) norn, but when I get it out it only comes up to her knees.

But I agree that the mini mystical dragon looks amazing and I really hope it is available one day. I was worried it’d be a convention exclusive, like Mr Sparkles was at first, but that doesn’t seem to have happened.

If you mean they don’t serve any constructive purpose then you’d be right, they are 100% a novelty item. But the same is true of armor and weapon skins. You don’t need minis, just like you don’t need nice skins, but some people enjoy having them.

I admit even as a dedicated collector it’s hard to put into words what exactly I like about them, but to put it simply they make me happy. As soon as I saw my brothers mini Kirin in GW1 I loved the idea of a tiny monster following you around and wanted one for myself. When I found out there were loads of them I wanted to see how many I could get. (Partially so I’d have a variety to choose from, partially for the challenge.)

It’s just a fun thing to add to your character.
