If I buy this does it unlock for all my characters? Or do I have to switch it from character to character? I really like mooses but not going to buy if only 1 character can use it….

when you get a mini, you can add it to your wardrobe. This puts in under the minis tab when you go to the hero tab (H is default key). You can then set it as the mini that will be out whenever the map isnt full of people for any of your characters.

I’m new to gw2 so not really sure what you mean. I have 5 characters, but don’t want to buy 5 mooses. Is it only usable for 1 character or do they all have the option to use it at any time?

Yes, all can use it.

When you buy one, you will right click on it and select “Add to account wardrobe”. Once you do that in your hero panel (H) you will then find the tab for Miniatures and there you can equip that mini (or any other you’ve unlocked) for any and all characters on your account. Always and forever.

The mini is bought once, used by all alts, but you can individually select which mini which alt has and that choice persists until you change it for that alt.

For tradeable minis, you can use them all you like and then sell them later if you don’t put them in the wardrobe, but in that case you must move them from alt to alt via the bank.
