Guild Wars 2

I put this in the bug forum as well as I’m not sure where it belongs rly… If its an actual bug or just a BIG load of stupidity. Guild halls are huge gold sinks – but thera gotta be a limit to how little u get for an upgrade.

We upgrade to mine exavation lvl 3 – and NOTHING happened. There was a cinematic but it didn’t even add any aestetics (or anything for that matter).

We paid LOADS of mats/god to get nothing Among other things, a huge mass of ley-line infused Tools)!!! This is just plaing silly and dumb. Plz fix.
An NPC said something about moving the miners beds into the mine…. but that was just a voice saying that…. I don’t wanna pay THAT much only to hear that.

The real reason we pay for that upgrade is to get access to the final Aetherium Storage upgrade. But did you actually go inside the mine and look around? Maybe it did get bigger.

Mine excavation 3 – I think adds a crane or something to the top – it has expanded the size of your mine slightly.

Checked for any changes both inside the mine and everywhere else – nothing. It may unlock other things… but ONLY doing that is aloso nothing but a pure ripoff. Most upgrades unlocks something, PLUS that they actually DO something (to the least that add something aestetic/lookwise to the area). But this one didn’t do anything at all. All it did was COST tons of mats/gold.

If you didn’t check what it did before you upgraded then why did you upgrade?

Looks like your mine now can be upgraded to produce materials faster. It reminds me of the old Unlocks in Guilds requiring Influence.

Would be nice to know which guild hall. If it’s the gilded hollow it unlocks an entire little staircase area that leads to the area above the mine and starts in the water area south of the mine. Not sure about lost precipice but I’ll check it out later in my other guilds hall.

There is a large area above the lost precipice mine that has a bunch of wooden structures you can get to via gliding but I’m not sure if they’re accessible after the upgrade

The mining RATE was upgraded just Before this last upgrade. The GH is Lost precipece and all wooden structures have been there since earlier uprades.

I may be wrong about what exact materials were needed – but still – the upgrade did NOTHING… and the ammounts of mats (no matter what they were) were costly! If u buy something, at least u wanna get something for the Money u spend, right?!

Mining excavation is needed for the bigger upgrades, like weaponsmith 2 and other such things that require a bigger aetherium capacity.

SO no, it’s not for nothing.
