I wonder what you think of the ArenaNet create a slot for minipets as equipment? In that mode since it does not take space equipped on bag and always active or self summoned every time we go into a map or instance. So ArenaNet would have better visibility into their minipets, minipets would be the most popular, and increase the sale of packages of minipets GemStore.

I agree with this. Even though I only have Rytlock, I’d like to be able to keep him out and not lose him each time I deposit all of my collectables into my bank.

Have you tried popping your pets in an invisible bag/box to avoid the deposit all issue?

Definitely on board with this one. Doubt it’s too hard for them to implement either.

But they could implement it as an item or like a ranger pet, so that it doesn’t take up bag space and it would be easier to switch between them.

You are correct the invisible bag keeps them handy. But when you zone/die you still need to pop them out again manually.

An item like slot for mini pets that would keep it summoned after dying/zoning would be really nice.

That is a solution but I think it still limits the popularity of mini pets. I wish GW2 implemented a system like WoWs where minis are given an entirely separate pane and any of your accounts minis can be summoned from anywhere without taking up a bag space or requiring an invisible bag.

Great idea, I hate not being able to run around with my mini Eir because she takes up a bag space.

Adding a link to the pet collection in the bank to perhaps the hero page would be a welcome addition. I have 44/54 of the main pets and would love to have the option to keep my collectable tab filled and not forget later I have XYZ pet but it’s on XYZ toon. And then this way no matter what character you’re on you can access the pets you worked hard to gain.

But yes, the invisible bags/boxes do prevent them from being deposited to the bank.

Exactly! I especially love completely switching up my color schemes when I get new dye drops and I want to escort around a mini who matches me. At this point in time I have to go back to the bank, deposit one mini and pick up another so I don’t end up with my bags all full of minis!

I think the Hero pane would be perfect to implement a mini pet tab into. Maybe not too difficult now since you can use crafting materials from your bank for discoveries… of course I don’t know anything at all about programming so that may not be helpful at all.

Would be happy if they would auto-summon after travel or death.

a great design would have the mini pet slot on the hero page (or tool bar) and set up like slotted skills.

You click the box, a list of min pets available comes up for selection. You can change your pet or summon/unsummon them any time you wish.

Even in other games, I will not use mini-pets as long as they take up inventory space or have to be summoned then stored in the bank.

This is a great idea.

Yes, I forget all the time to use the minipet on every map/overflown switch and then I end up just storing it because of “all the work”…

It would be nice to have a mini pets section similar to the pet section that Rangers have.
