Guild Wars 2

Anyone else think that minis should have a little more than just having the option to pop out and follow you? I’m hoping Anet will allow mini pets to help fight, even if its a 10dmg difference. Possibly some mini animals have the option of maturing?

I love the lion cub, but I hope Anet will throw in an update to allow Minis to mature, I’d definitely LOVE to have a Lion with a mane!

Like for some Minis (such as lion cub) if you keep them out for a certain amount of time you will get to see them mature and grow a bit and eventually have a mane.

Mini pets fighting in regular combat goes against the idea of them being cosmetic gimmicks. And ever profession having combat pets isnt a good idea either I suppose.

There were some in Kourna or Vabbi, 250 years back.
Maybe the could just have a little bit of interaction with the toon (emote), or be somewhat useful in costume brawl?

Well if its for cosmetic use, I honestly think that maybe they should add some sort of maturing system and ways to interact with the minis! and yes they do have a Lion Cub

I’d use minis if you didn’t constantly need to keep taking them out. Go underwater? Change zones? Log out? Die? Gotta open your bags and double click that thing again. It’s way too annoying. If I activate a minipet, just keep the thing out until I put it away. Making it disappear underwater is fine since it would require more animation work otherwise, but have it pop back out by itself when I get back on land.

People have been singing this same song since before release. Personally, I think we should have an equipment slot for them. Maybe even have two so you can “mini-swap” like we do with weapons and Rangers do with their pets.

Realistically, there are much more important things that need fixing before minis get a polish.

I cant wait untill they start making rare minis, like mini Kanaxai just to see people bidding 15k+ for them.

Would be great if they didn’t automatically go into collections but still keep the right click button to put them back into storage. Yeayea you can just buy a invisible bag so it does not hppen but it can get annoying having to move out stuff you wanna sell to a normal bag.
