I was working on doing the Old Tom achievement, which I thought should only require 27 Mini Professor Mews. When I threw the 3 the Mini Baron von Scrufflebutt’s in the forge to produce Mini Snuggles, it did not unlock Scrufflebutt. Which meant I had to go back and craft 3 more Mittens and a Scrufflebutt to unlock it for myself and the achieve.

This has happened to me with other mini’s in the past with the forge. Why do they not unlock like armor and weapon skins do when thrown in the Mystic Forge?

In the end, i needed to use I believe 39 Professor Mews in order to unlock all the mini’s for myself and for the achieve’s since throwing in the forget did not unlock them.

Because Minis are consumed when unlocking them, Skins only turn account bound.

The mini gift skritt was that way. You had to make one for your self and the rest to upgrade into the next level of gift skritt. Same with the next level. Definitely something to keep in mind when making these minis.

it’s so when anet has those 3 mini bundles in the gem store that you can mf into a 4th mini, you have to buy it twice if you want all 4 of the minis Kappa
