What is my recourse on getting a trait I need that is from killing a boss 5 stages deep on a meta quest that is bugged literally every time I check on it on the first stage. I can’t buy it, do I HAVE to just wait until I can afford it and then buy it? I’d really rather just kill the champion for it.

I played the game and never really got into it deep enough to continue forever ago and then just recently came back, not sure what their aim was with the new talent unlock thing but whatever, I can deal with that if you know… I wasn’t locked out of talents I want to unlock because of bugs.

This has quickly become the most hated thing in the game right now. It won’t get changed any time soon because you know how long it takes anet to change anything. You’ll see it fixed or the trait system changed in roughly a year and a half.

Until then, buy them.

well it’s kinda safe to say just buy it if it’s still bugged.also report the bug so maybe they will try to fix it

Well, that’s incredibly kittenty, but I guess at least I know where things stand.

I highly recommend you EotM until level 80, using the proceeds to buy traits as you go. It’s not fun at all but:

That way you don’t have to suffer the horrid trait system and when you really start playing the game (once you hit 80), you have the freedom to play whatever build you wish to experiment with.
