I was wondering about some attribute combinations found on the game wiki

Barbarian (found only in PVP): Power – Precision – Vitality
Forsaken (Found on specific weapons only): Power – Toughness – Healing
Apostate (Found on specific weapons only): Condition – Toughness – Healing

This seem like a really interesting combination of stats that seem to have never seen the light of day on the normal PVE sets and I was asking myself if they would ever be implemented.

For example, [Forsaken] seem to be an amazing combination for a self sustaining power reaper, with the power also increasing thanks to the toughness in death magic and the healing that provides with blood magic.

I know, it makes no sense. Just like how you up until the release of season 3 couldnt get Magi ascended jewelry easily (2 massive dungeon collections only). There are quite a few PVP stat combinations I would love to have seen in HoT like the Mender’s Amulet.

I want a version of celestial that includes concentration and expertise! Okay, so maybe it isn’t “missing” in the same sense as the stats you refer to, but it’s still missing!

I’ve always been against the idea of fixed “prefixes” — we should be able to craft any combination of primary/secondary+secondary (3-stat prefixes) in core and any combination of prime+prime/second+second (4-stat prefixes) in HoT, by combining the appropriate ingredients. Then we’d only have to memorize the stat|ingredient combination rather than an arbitrary set of names linked to an arbitrary set of stat combinations, with an arbitrary set of sources.

That would actually be amazing but sounds like a looot of work.

Yeah i was wondering how, for example, Demolisher (power, prec, toughness, ferocity), Destroyer (power, prec, ferocity, condi dmg) or Mender (power, healing power, prec, vitality) would change things.

Not sure if they arent in PvE and WvW because they would be too good or just simply left behind.

People in WvW would probably mix Marauder and Demolisher for power builds that would have kind of high HP with high armor and really good damage. At the moment they have to give up a bit of ferocity, power or precision if they wanted more toughness or vitality.

That would be absolutely perfect, yet it’s really another crafting system, so we probably won’t see it until GW3. Maybe you should try to get hired as game designer ?
