Guild Wars 2

So, my wife and I just got our Tax return and decided to go buy some gem cards for various reasons, the primary being my wife was tired of farming for her exotics and wanted to finish outfitting her Thief. She ran out of money with 3 trinkets shy, I purchase the Berserker Trinkets for her, equaling roughly 13-14 gold. I mailed her the items via right clicking her portrait in the party, selecting send mail, dropped in the 3 items and clicked send. It has now been roughly 15 minutes, and she has 0/10 in her mailbox. The items are lost in limbo, and me out of some gold, albeit not hard earned gold but gold nonetheless.

Now, my question to you is has this happened to you before? Do you eventually receive the items, is there some proper way to contact support regarding because, I’m sorry but I feel I should be entitled to a refund or a replacement of the items.

The only time I ever had mail delayed was when I had mail in my inbox blocking new mail coming in.

I suggest putting in a ticket.

Don’t know about a solution, but once one of my friends didn’t receive my mail until TWO WEEKS LATER. I found it hilarious and frustrating (since I just crafted/mailed expensive armor to him just then)

I think what he did was clear some mail despite not being full on player mail

Two things that could have happened.

1) Her inbox was full, but I guess you already verified it wasn’t.
2) Some misclicking or weird design by anet makes new mail directed towards the nearest person. Sometimes creating mail or dropping things in the mail you made will indicate a “new mail” which will over-write what you wrote and replace it with the nearest player. And then if you didn’t double-check it was probably sent to that player. It’s happened to me before with some charged lodes ;_;

Other than that, not sure.

I asked the person I sent it to by accident for it back and he said ‘thanks’ and never sent it back…XD gg

I have had mail arrive 24 hours later twice in the last week.

Thank you for all of the responses, I have opened a ticket and hope that either tha mail arrives or I hear back from support.
