After the most recent patch, do you think Mistfire Wolf is now an effective choice for an elite skill? Do you think it’s better than some class specific elites so it would be more effective for certain classes?
Mistfire Wolf: This elite now has a 150-second recharge (down from 240), and can now be cast while moving. This pet’s health has been increased by 100%.
Also I’m not exactly sure where to put this thread, since the skill is available to anyone if they bought the digital deluxe edition, so I apologize to the mods if this is the wrong place for this.
It’s good for levelling and I use it on my mid lvl Guardian atm, but not for grouping. I’m not sure it could ever be viable for anything other than solo pve stuff anyway. I’d like it to last longer, but this was a very much welcome buff
(then again, just about every Elite in the game did that already… but if you were a ranger like me and you didn’t run spirit-way, your only available & viable option was RAO).
So yeah, it’s back on my Bar most of the time again and is helping out quite a bit in quite a few pure-DPS situations where RAO’s Stability wasn’t necessary. +1 Good Change. Really reduces the regret I used to have over getting the Bonus whatever version.
I might use it again. I actually used it last week just for the heck of it. As one of my main’s being a condition Ranger, it’ll be hard to justify using it over Entangle.
Haven’t tried it yet but when fighting bosses like the effigy in CoF on my Engineer, it’ll be a better choice than artillery barrage. I don’t use supply crate at that fight because it doesn’t really help damage wise
