someone remember last Anet’s words about this set? Any news/update?

would be your best start, they then have a way to upgrade the Mistforge version.

p.s. this is a WvW rewards track

I have already done that track, but my problem is the gift of heroes because from wiki/dulfy it seem the only way to purchase that is by www tournament tickets…
So I would like to know if Anet is willing to give us another way to get those weapons or just more www tournaments in the future.
Personally, even some special www event could be a reasonable (and funny?) way to upgrade weapon hero; but I’m here to gather info, not to give more suggestions to Anet.

The only way to get the Gift of Heroes was to come in first place for your match-up on a given week in the tournaments. They were really hard to get then, so I can’t imagine what you would have to do to now to get them.

Hmmmm, maybe you could one Gift of Heroes per WvW achievement completed, such as Yakslapper or Unhappy Camper, etc. ? Now that would be a good reward for the more hardcore WvW players.

Yes, my server ended at 8th place, then 7th and then again at 7th place, so i was able to craft only 3 mistforged hero’s weapon… and since then, no more P_P
About achievements… already done all from edge and many from www (still working to complete the kingmaker and the camp counselor; I give up for the ultimate dominator: after 4 years I just have only 37k kills XD)…
So, about your suggestion, only “retro-rewards” or new achievement for me ^^

That’s not a bad idea. Or hand out 1 token for every 100-200 WvW ranks you get. At 200 WvW ranks each, you would have to reach rank 1,800 to get all of them (assuming you hadn’t participated in any WvW tournaments), which I think is pretty fair.
