That’s what it says in the patch notes, I cant check it coz EU servers dead but I think is awesome we can go back to the same spot we were when we used it..

The Mistlock Sanctuary’s portal to Tyria has been updated with additional teleportation options. Players may now choose to return to the location where they used their Mistlock Sanctuary Passkey.
Yep – the new option to return you to where you came from is really valuable. I’m very happy this was added.
