I’m a little confused;

In Game:
It states that the acquisition of the “Mistward Warfists” are by defeating The Shatterer.

On Wiki:

eg. Prerequisite: Completion of the Devastation revenant specialization

So which one, me and my son are having a little bit of an argument over it he favors the shorter route ‘defeating The Shatterer.’ and I favor the Wiki.

Any advice welcome.

The Devastation part is only the prerequisite to start the collection for the Mistward Warfists (from the page you linked: “Prerequisite: Completion of the Devastation revenant specialization”). In-game you’re reading the wrong item. The warfists you obtain by completing a collection, which is unlocked as noted on the page you linked. What you read in-game is probably https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mistward_Gloves_Plate , an item IN the collection itself. The gloves plate DOES require defeating shatterer.

So… technically, you’re both right. You cant get them without finishing that specialization (to unlock the collection) AND you cant get them without defeating Shatterer (to obtain an item in the collection).
