The moa were nine species (in six genera) of flightless birds endemic to New Zealand.
They weren’t dinosaurs, at least no more than any bird now living is a dinosaur.

While Moas and other recently extinct birds were not dinosaurs, evidence shows birds today are descended from dinosaurs.
So I guess we can say dinosaurs and probably moas tasted like chicken!
