Mob Deaths
I’m pretty sure we have varied deaths animations.
Like, kill an enemy with lightning damage and he spasm because of electricity.
Or with poison and they grab their throat because they have trouble breathing.

Not talking bout animations, animations are fine. I am talking about despawn of the enemies, when they hit the floor and then just disappear after a few seconds.
Guess i should of made that more clear.
Hm… guess that’s just a bane of MMO’s then. I barely see despawn animations that go beyond the enemy sinking into the ground to imply decomposing.

Normally id agree. if gw2 did not have unique spawning i would of not even brought this up, but they do have unique spawns, unique dying animations, but as for despawns..it falls flat. So as i said..why not just dissolve them into the ground? simple, easy, and more importantly does not look lazy. It is a little thing, but seeing as how often we see something dying it would be noticed.
I mean some finishers in pvp have unique despawns..namely…the wurm, and shark finisher. where both eat your body.
one of the worst trends in video games over the past 20 years is the removal of persistent corpses…..remember when doom 2 and duke nukem had corpses EVERYWHERE when you looked behind you……..oooh yea good times
obviously we cant do that in an mmo cuz the server would probably crash but……maybe 5 seconds?

First…its rated T…second…Risen are basically rotting corpses..have you seen Orr before the nerf? they were everywhere..third..i never suggested them to remain there on the ground, that will quickly clutter up and lag the server..i merely suggested bodies just dissolve into the ground, or anything for that matter, long as its not a lame vanish..
Corpses hang around until they are fully looted …

zombies are apparently cool and family-friendly judging by a huge rush of money-milking bandwagon of zombie games of last years but actual corpses are not
