I have been trying for two days to kill a thread. How do I do this? I can’t seem to disengage and it’s getting uglier every day.

Have you been reporting the nasty posts people post ?

If it’s your thread, what I’ve seen work before is to “report” your own first post and ask for the thread to be closed. You can also delete your original post after reporting, that normally causes the thread to be closed by a moderator.

If it’s not your thread, you can ask by reporting one of your own posts or a post that’s inflammatory and putting a request to close the thread in the box, but it’s up to the moderator to agree that it needs this.

If you don’t know how to report a post, at bottom right of a post is a flag icon (sort of looks like a little crawly person). Click on that and a report box will open up.
