We have so much room at the bottom of our inventory where it shows gold and gem amount, and I think we should be able to select what currencies we want to monitor, then they’d be displayed down there. What do you think?
This is in WoW, just wait for the contrarian “just because WoW did it doesn’t mean it’s good!” crowd.
I find it really convenient and it is met with my approval; it should be standard, if you ask me. We can monitor achievements we’re working on, we should be able to monitor currencies we’re acquiring (while disregarding females).

You may have a lot of room, but, not everyone does, some, like myself has 3 Armor sets/Accessories/Trinkets I switch between depending on what area I’m doing(PvE, Dungeons or WvW) along with various foods, mini-pets(6 I like and cycle through), salvage kits(6 Mystics), Hero Banners, Boxes O’ Fun/Fireworks(for fun times), Teleport Guns, Gathering Tools, Bank/Merch/TP Express, Quartz Crystals(for converting to Charged Crystals) and a few other things I use or will use in the field. I have 160 bag slots and of those 86 is taken up by the afore mentioned items, so, unless they give me more bag space to accommodate the items you want me to lug around as well then I would have to say no.

Hmm….for me, moving my cursor over it is pretty darn quick, and relatively easy. But, I guess not having to do that would be ok, if it would fit in the space.

Yeah, I mean it could adjust based to how you have your inventory sized. If there’s not enough room it could show as “…” for example so you know to expand
Ok, but it pretty much already does that. If you need to put your cursor on it to expand it, there is no real added ease in monitoring your currencies. In fact, that would be an extra step. Right now, all you have to do is move your cursor to the bottom of your inventory, and voila all possible currencies are available for view. =) (No clicking needed.)

Like Inculpatus cedo.9234 said is quick and easy, just hover mouse over money or gems and there you have it, works for me if I were inclined to take note of the things you mentioned. There is a difference between quick/easy and just plain LaZy(LOL)

You don’t even have to put your cursor on coins or gems, placing your cursor anywhere in the space at the bottom of your inventory brings up all possible currencies in-game, and monitors your personal amounts. Pretty nifty, I would say. ; )
