So, I’m hoping this is a stupid question and the obvious answer is that people won’t be rewarded extra for completing their monthlies after the 28th, but given the patch goes live then and monthly laurels are in it I thought it best to ask…

I believe they said that laurels will not be rewarded for the January monthly.

ofc not, since most of us done the january long time ago
