So, last night I was 3/4 done with my monthly, having completed Group Event Completer, Champion Slayer, and Puzzle Jumper. Now, after the patch, I’m down to 1/4 done because you took out Group Event Completer and Champion Slayer. I guess I’m glad that I got to keep the achievement points I got for finishing them, but I am a bit annoyed that I have to go back and do that work again for other categories now.

Daily and monthly rewards have changed. Resetting them puts everyone on equal footing and allows everyone to get the new rewards without penalty.

I was already done with four monthlies. Now I wonder whether I got to keep the laurels (don’t keep track of them that closely) or whether I would get the monthly award a second time.

Removing monthly categories after two days seems to indicate bad planning. I don’t see how that puts people on equal footing. One could have just added more categories rather than removing some. After all, the daily categories are now several screens full. It doesn’t make much sense to me to replace Champion Slayer with Veteran Slayer and Mastercraft Crafter (?) with Monthly Salvage Kit Usages. I didn’t even get credit for the new categories for the last few days.

Equal footing? Some players getting 20 laurels and some getting 10 is equal how?

It was not intended. They are addressing the issue as we speak.

It’s NOT equal footing when now those that finished these off and got the laurels for doing them get to get those laurels AGAIN.
