So ever since I heard that doing Daily and Monthly achievements would earn you laurels that you could trade in for Ascended gear, I was super stoked. I’ve been completing the Daily ones without hardly any hassle, and have been inching my way to the Monthly. The last thing on my list was getting 50 WvW Invader kills. Sounded easy enough, and it turns out that it was. Ran with my commander friend around the map, watched as a loose zerg formed, and then picked off anyone we could find. I was in the middle of defending a keep when I finally completed my Monthly. I went to a safe place, then opened my chest. 20 Mystic Coins, 20 Jugs of Liquid Karma, and some amount of silver. ABSOLUTELY NO LAURELS. I would like an answer this asap, and hear the stories of anyone else this has happened to. I checked my inventory over and over again, but it still says my funds are at 3. I’m really disappointed.

Yea Lucas, its not happening this month. I really hope that they remove the WvW element of the monthly aswell, WvW has nothing to do with PvE annd should be moved to PVP monthly

Wait, your funds are at 3? Isn’t it supposed to be 2, given that laurels were only introduced on 28th PST and only two days have gone by now? :/

Also, laurels for monthly are rewarded starting feb, not for this month as it would be unfair to those who did monthly before the patch.

Today it’s the 3rd day you can get the Laurels:
28th (a few hours before daily reset)
29th
30th

equals 3 (lol as in RWJ xD )

As much as I’d like to confirm that, I can’t Though I do love WvW, I don’t think it fits into PvE monthly either. It’s kind of a mix between PvE and PvP, I don’t know where it’d belong.

WvW is more of PvE + PvP; so I guess it makes sense. However it isn’t that tough to get either. Sit on siege and kill zergs/ flip camps (even NPC’s out there count) or flip quaggans by killing krait or there’s a centaur camp with a DE attached to it where you can easily get 30 kills (not sure if it counts, but worth the try..atleast you get some free space away from zergs and some drops, karma and stuff like that :P)

NPC’s count? I had no idea :O Not a big deal to me since I enjoy WvW. But you learn something new everyday.

The first daily was tagged to a very short “day”. The first reset came a few hours after the patch was out.

Yea, me too. I’m sure NPC’s by camps or Tower lords etc count, but not sure about skritt or krait and stuff like those. I usually get my WvW kills on day 1 or 2 of the month so I don’t worry much about it.
