What happened to this?!
We used to get little gifts each month for buy at least 800 gems.
I don’t understand why this stopped. It was a nice incentive to help support the game and wasn’t game breaking. It’s also not unfair imo, if someone plays the game for free then they are winning. If someone supports the game and gets a single BL key or BL salvaging kit, then they deserve it.
Just a thought.

That wasn’t something that happened every month. It was a fairly rare thing. I don’t know why they stopped it, but I don’t really miss it much.

The Mr Sparkles one was cool though

I can only remember it happening twice before, and both times were years ago – a kite when the zephyrites first arrived in season 1, and mini Mr Sparkles & green quaggan backpack during Wintersday 2013.

hmmm I thought it was more than that.
Either way, it was something impactful that I remember. Doesn’t have to be every month. but every 3 months or something would be nice.

I’m pretty sure they only did this in 2012 and 2013. It seemed like a way of rewarding frequent gem buyers and helping prop up the gold:gem ratio (which was too little, at the time, to discourage gold selling).

I don’t remember them doing it in 2014 or 2015.
