Why is Monthly October Achievement down already if its 10:04PM on OCTOBER 31st? Waisted all that time and only had a few items to salvage left.

I was wondering that as well. And also, why is the november achievement have halloween item requirements, is this anets way of lowering the candy corn supply after the event is no longer in game?

It doesn’t, that’s carry-over from last month that you didn’t complete.

I’m looking at it right now, there is nothing concerning Halloween on the list.

Also, GW2 does not follow your time. It follows a specific time zone which might be different then yours and it was midnight nov 01/2012 when it switched so nothing is broken or wrong.

The prize was pretty sweet for monthly, but it didnt give much money at all.

that says you did not complete your october monthly. assuming that you in fact did complete the monthly, your thing is glitched.

I’m willing to bet you’re seeing a bug having to do with the inactive achievements, because in-game the chat is full of people asking about the question marks.

It was 56 copper the first month as well, when karma jugs did not exist.

First off I have my clock set up to server time so there goes that whole crazy clock time theory. Wait until the last minute it is still October so what does it matter if I am busy and cant get it done the begging of the month.
I thought a month meant a month my bad i guess i should have done it in a day or wait don’t they have an achievement for that already

You’ve had a month to complete it, simple as that. The october monthly started the exact same time as the september, which was on the last day of the month on reset. It’s really not too difficult to grasp that it will be reset on the last day, when they chose to reset a daily part way through the day. Why take the time to set a seperate hour to reset the monthly, when they can easily enough attach it to the same reset as they already have in place?

All daily/monthly resets are in GMT/UTC timezone, not server/ArenaNet timezone. They have been in GMT since release.

It’s been known that the monthly resets on midnight UTC on the first of the month since September.

PT is on UTC-7 right now, ET is on UTC-4, GB on UTC, western mainland Europe UTC+1 (exception Portugal, who is on UTC), the rest of Europe is on UTC+2.
