This is an attempt to not see a “wtf monthly reset but its still March” thread Sunday (for us NA people).

Monthlies will reset on Sunday at the same time dailies do. If you are close now, buckle down and finish them today or tomorrow!

Im not a crafter, congratulations to me, I cant complete the monthly.

But you can be a crafter. You just need a can do attitude, not a can’t do attitude. From 0 to the first stage to make a green item in most crafts will take very little time and money.

Try it with an open mind. A friend of mine found he really enjoyed crafting because of this monthly, you could too.

Don’t be a sadpanda and don’t let crafting stop you from getting your monthly laurels/karma! Do you have some copper ore and green wood logs stacked up in your collectibles? Just go learn Artificing! Then do this:
1) Refine your copper ore into bronze ingots.
2) Refine your green wood logs into green wood planks.
If doing this got you to artificer level 50, then you should have a recipe for a bronze plated dowel. If not, craft a few of whatever new recipes popped up while you were leveling until you are 50.
3) Use ingots and planks you just refined to craft bronze plated dowels, they are master tier and will get you your monthly.
4) Dance.

this is Bull, if we have 31 days in a month then we should have the full time to do so. Anet should have made it clear to everyone that they were going to do this, because people wont know about it till it happens. They are all about making money off the players and dont care about game play at all.

Not quite sure I understand what your point is, but you do get the full time to do the monthly. March’s monthly started at the exact same time, on Feb 28th at 19:00 for me. So what’s the complaint?

Daily reset happens at the same time each day, 0:00 GMT. Monthly reset also happens at the same time every month, 0:00 GMT on the last day of the month. This hasn’t changed since the servers first went online.

This happens every single month. Someone decides to wait until the last minute and then comes on here and complains when they miss the monthly. The monthly has reset at the same time every single month since release.

How about finishing the monthly before the last day.
Those that wait for the last day of the month to finish it deserve to fail and not get reward.
Even with a monthly that can be done in 4 days people still cant finish it?

This months can be completed in 4 days as well. You can bet your kitten there will be someone complaining the last day of April.

“0/1 Fractals Completed.” is going to make me mad all month. Thanks for the subtle hint that I should be doing FotM yet again ANet. I forsee me playing a lot less this month.

It is fortunate for you that they changed the Monthly to behave like the dailies. You can choose which of the monthly categories you want to complete.

Thank you Anet for implementing the choice for Monthlies thing. Back when you did it for the dailies there was that message in-game saying it would be for the monthlies as well so I was pretty disappointed (and worried) when it didn’t happen last month. But my fears have been put to rest because you came through on your word. Now I can actually do monthlies on a regular basis because we can actually choose which ones to do. Many hugs to you guys.
