1) the $100 I spent on the expack says it’s not f2p
2) the f2p you’re referring to is much closer to a free to try. An extended trial version with numerous restrictions on trade, chat, where you can go and when, character limit, whispering…. among other restrictions.

SWTOR is classified as f2p. It also offers a sub and requires you to pay for expansions.

Nothing in the TP is needed to get ahead in the game … nothing. Boosters? Nope not used in the 3 yrs I have had the game. Skins? Nope not needed at all since there are no stats to them. Harvesting stuff? Nope not needed since you can find and get them for copper and silver in the game. Salvage equipment? Nope not needed since so many merchs sell them for very little copper or silver. Minis? Nope not needed since they do nothing but stand there and follow you.

There is nothing in or on the TP to make this game pay to win.

Right now, the paywalls are insane. Many other F2P MMOs (lets stop kidding ourselves, this game IS F2P), are offering similar services, as to promote a stable, monthly income for itself, while rewarding customers with a better experience.

Since the content has extremely high replay value, i think this is a very solid next step for Arena Net? Can i get some support on this idea???

Just because there is an extended trial version on the old part of the game doesn’t mean the whole game is free to play.
