January patch Flame & Frost part 1 went live on 28th: 3 days before February.
February patch Flame & Frost part 2 will go live on 26th, last 2 days of the month.
Why don’t you just skip 2 days and admit you are late with monthly contents? There will be nothing new in February, we will play the new patch in March, that’s the truth.

You do realise that its stil a monthly release right? They could have pushed the dates to 1st of feb and 1st of march, but what would be the point?

I don’t see monthly content as; “stuff thats released to be playet that month”
It’s just the cycle of how long between the uppdates imo.

If it comes out in January then it’s a January patch, whether it’s on the 1st or the 31st.

You wouldn’t apply that logic to anything else would you? If you get sent a bill that says you have to pay it by the end of the month and then they fine you on the 28th because it’s basically the end of the month already so you should just admit that you’re late even if you have 2 days left you’d be pretty kitten

@Iridiana.9078: You got it all wrong. What it means is that there will be major patches within a month of eachother. It has nothing to do with which month you effectivly play them.

They still come in the month they say it will, it doesnt matter which date it comes, since in reality it doesnt matter. The content is braught to the game to stay permanently, its not something thats only going to be played until the next patch. If it was like that, each old zone would be abandoned after each new patch, which isnt the case.

Except Living Story which is not a permanent content.
Except January patch which went live 1 month and a half after December patch.

Monthly update just means that every calendar month there is going to be an update. Doesn’t matter if it is the 1st or the 31st of that month, it is still a monthly update.

Now lets put this to rest and lets complain about stuff that actually matters.

I think you’re overlooking the obvious reason that the Jan/Feb patches have been later in the month rather than earlier: the holidays. At the end of December and beginning of January people would be taking time off for those holidays, hence the January patch came out near the end of January rather than the beginning/middle. Now February’s patch will be a month after that.
