More Guild related content
All the suggestions are good, however ANet hasn’t given any indication that they’ll do anything more than possibly adding a few more guild missions.
All of WvW is major guild related content even Spvp has a big guild related content there is nearly nothing in the game that is not guild related. Are you asking for guild only zones like dungeons that you can lock out ppl not from your guild that maybe a bit too close to a raid event and GW2 not about raids.

I miss a guild hall like in GW1.
Guild Wars 2 could do such awesome things!
Planning huge celebrations for the holidays for example! Imagine every jeweler in the guild crafting “wintersday-tree”-decorations, tailors crafting small socks and costumes, cooks crafting huge feasts and the other professions crafting toys for children!
Sylvari grow trees for wintersday, asuras build snow-machines and so on…
Everything earns some influence for the guild.
Or turning the guild hall into a house of horrors for children for halloween.
When there is no holiday, huntsmen could craft trophies as a decoration for the guild hall, created from world bosses, armor smiths could build decorative armor-stands…endless possibilities.
And functual upgrades not to forget!
Like a mine-shaft the guild can dig deeper/upgrade to get higher tiers of ore with additional events the guild leaders can trigger like dredge-/destroyer-/ooze-invasions which give additional rewards. An orchard to do the same for trees and a huge farm with npc-workers for cooking-supplies.
But I guess something like this will be nothing but a dream for a long time.

No because random people can still join missions as stuff provided a guild has opened it, The who gametype of Guild vs. Guild sort of because You could also have an option for pugs to join and make up a “guild” for the match and not really for the guild building thing because it’d mostly be used by people who have guilds

The thing about GvG is you have that in WvW and even Spvp in a way every Spvp game can be a GvG if each team is made up of one guild to fight another its just a numbers thing that seems to get ppl hung up on it. In a WvW setting you can have open GvG that a bit more set up or more to having a guild def a keep vs another guild that is trying to take that same keep.
Every thing in GW2 is about or at least can be about a guild.

They hadn’t that much stuff. It was mostly one of the pvp-arenas you could upgrade with merchants, banks and other service-npcs. But here’s hoping for GW2 to expand on that

Guilds were abandoned in this game, for the Living Story, just like everything else. It could’ve been expanded on after Guild Missions and the Influence System were implemented, but GW2 isn’t about guilds, ironically. It’s about open-world content, where everyone can participate. There isn’t any exclusive content solely for guilds, except the same dungeons for almost 2 years now.
