I think the game could use more end game aquatic content, a dungeon and a fractal. Sure we have a fractal underwater and some maps but for most players after map completion there are no use. I really hope they add some nice area maybe for farm and event maps like the silverwastes and dry top. I hope the new feature of HoT will encourage players to go back to the aquatic maps and areas. I mean it is like playing a new character with different mechanics

No, underwater combat sucks. Anet refuses to balance it and as seen by the fact that none of the new weapon sets have underwater versions it is obvious they are trying to phase it out.

Nah although I think GW2’s aquatic combat is the best out of the other MMOs. I’d prefer to see ground combat. I don’t think many people really like aquatic combat.

I would love to see entire cities, entire maps, mostly underwater.

This game’s underwater combat has such great potential…
Guild Wars 2 the only game where I don’t hate being underwater.

…and that says a lot.

…but it is up to the development team to turn that “I don’t hate it” into “this is awesome!”

They are so close to having an enjoyable worthwhile underwater experience…. but they refuse to do anything about the flaws.

…and I certainly would love to see them improve underwater combat in the future.
